FAQs

  • The stories you share shape how people understand your work and the people, places, and communities connected to it. A cultural and editorial strategist helps you slow down, look closer, and tell stories that are thoughtful, accurate, and aligned with your values. This work isn’t about chasing trends or producing more content. It’s about creating stories that feel real, respectful, and meaningful. Stories that resonate, build trust, and reflect the world as it truly is, while also helping to shape the way people understand your brand and mission.

  • I can handle a wide range of storytelling and strategy projects, including:

    • Editorial and content strategy

    • Travel and destination storytelling

    • Inclusive content and DEI story audits

    • Executive communications

    • Speaking, moderation, workshops and facilitation

Some clients come to me for a short-term project, others for ongoing support. We’ll figure out what makes the most sense for you.

  • Reach out to me to schedule a 30 minute discovery session where we can talk through your goals, your challenges, and what you’re hoping to change. From there, I’ll recommend a clear path forward whether that’s a one time audit or a longer-term partnership. Once we agree on scope and timeline, I’ll write up a proposal/contract for your review and set up a project kick off call to get us up and running.

  • Every project is a little different, so pricing depends on the scope and level of support you need. We will work together in our initial consultation to nail down a scope based on what you need to walk away with, and what success looks for you. I aim to be transparent, fair, and flexible, particularly when working with nonprofits and cultural institutions.

  • In a word…experience. I bring together nearly fifteen years of editorial leadership, cultural research, and inclusive storytelling. I also have deep knowledge and respect for the communities behind the stories. So I don’t just help you “sound good,” I help you build the structure, voice, and cultural intelligence to tell meaningful stories consistently and responsibly.

  • I partner with tourism boards, cultural institutions, media organizations, nonprofits, universities, and purpose-driven brands, especially those committed to thoughtful, inclusive, and impactful storytelling. If your work is rooted in people, place, and purpose, we’re probably a good fit.

  • Marketing and PR often focus on visibility and promotion. My work begins with meaning, context, and care. I help organizations clarify their voice, understand the cultural landscape they operate within, and build sustainable storytelling systems. Together, we can shape stories that feel grounded, intentional, and honest ensuring that your audience doesn’t just see your message, but truly connects with it.
